1975 - 1985:  The Activities Expand through Three Pastors

1975:
The council participates in the Burlington Foster Child Program, and continues with its support of other charitable activities.

1976:
The council participates in the Burlington Christmas Parade.  Citrus replaces toilet tissue as a fund raiser.

1977 and 1978:
Father Maloney is the new Pastor.  The council continues with its support of Church, Civic, and social activities.  The council enters a live Nativity Float in the Graham Christmas Parade and the Fourth Degree provides the Honor Guard.  The council has participated in this parade every year since.

1979:
The council sponsors a golf tournament for the parish, and 20-pound bags of fertilizer replace citrus as a fund raiser.

1980:
During Lent, Fourth Degree members of the council act as leaders for the Stations of the Cross with assistance from council members.  Parish Right-To-Life Committee and council members staff an information booth at the Alamance County Fair.

1981:
Members conduct poetry and essay contests for the school youth, and work with other parish groups to landscape the parish grounds.

1982:
With the 30th Anniversary of the council, a tree is planted on the church grounds and marked with a bronze plaque in memory of deceased members.  The council begins participation in the State-wide Pilgrim Virgin Hour of Prayer and the Traveling Gavel program.  The first official First Degree Team is formed.

1983:
No record.

1984:
Father Sanford, the current Pastor, suggests a Grotto to The Virgin Mary be placed on the church grounds.  Brother Joe Blihar reports his mother would be willing to donate the statue.  No decision is made, and although no further mention is made in the minutes, there is a Grotto to The Virgin Mary on the church grounds.

1985:
Father Pitts is now the Pastor. Members volunteer to man the phones for the annual Jerry Lewis MDA telethon, and participate in the dedication of the renovated Koury Center.
